MICROPROCESSOR INTERFACING AND APPLICATIONS
The applications of microprocessors are almost unlimited, and nearly every electromechanical device is a candidate for computer control.
Yet microprocessors must be interfaced to memory and I/O devices to carry out these computing and applications functions – and that´s what students
will learn with this course.
The EB-6820 textbook shows how to interface memory for program storage and I/O devices for system communication. Students will learn how to apply the microprocessor to real
tasks through analog conversion, signal conditioning, sensors, motors, control devices, and control circuits.
The textbook contains 19 experiments that students perform with the EWS-3800 8-Bit Microprocessor Trainer. They´ll see concepts come to life and be well on their way to joining the microprocessor applications revolution.
This course can be implemented with either individual loose parts or pre-wired experiment boards. Choose based on your budget and time constraints.
