DC ELECTRONICS {EV-3101-A}
It takes students from understanding electron movement to troubleshooting and repairing simple electronic circuits. Approximately 1 hour in length.
Course Objectives
- Comprehend DC current, DC voltage, resistance, inductance, capacitance, Ohm's Law, magnetism and DC electrical measurement.
- Use transpositions of the basic Ohm's Law formula to compute current, voltage, and resistive values.
- Explain how inductors and capacitors are made and used.
- Discuss the correct use of ammeters, voltmeters, and ohmmeters.
- Troubleshoot simple DC circuits.
